Fort Washington Forward (FWF) Green Team has a passion for promoting sustainability within our community while also bringing people of all

ages together to create intergenerational relationships. FWF seeks to enhance social connectivity through sustainable initiatives.

Our monthly community clean-ups are organized to bring together community members of all backgrounds with a common interest in the habitats and public spaces that we share. Some of our goals for this initiative include developing intergenerational relationships with a common passion for waste reductions, reducing roadside litter and illegal dumping, encouraging the development of intergenerational relationships with a common passion for gardening and ecological restoration, and reducing pollution of our local tributaries of the Potomac River.
