Welcome to Fort Washington Forward, Inc.’s new Forward Farmers Market season! We are a growing non-profit organization, founded by Fort Washington residents, who want to enhance the quality of living here by offering healthy, fresh-picked foods, flowers, and plants grown by local farmers.

 

Our Farmers Market will feature a modern, eclectic collection of farmers, artists, and craftspeople in an inviting atmosphere in a place where local farmers sell their products online or directly to consumers. You’ll find them set up on the second and fourth Saturday from May through October selling fresh, just-picked seasonal Maryland-grown fruits and vegetables. 

Our farmer vendors go to great lengths to provide the most nutritious items possible by picking produce right before it is sent to the market and offering several varieties of fruits and vegetables. Each farmer may have different varieties of apples, corn, tomatoes, or peppers. Try something new!

Our Forward Farmers’ Market is also a place for people to connect as a community, build relationships and learn where food or product comes from. Support your health, lifestyle, and your local farmers and vendors by stopping by our market!
